I LOVE THAT YOU ALL ARE ACKNOWLEDGING THIS GREAT MAN WHO MADE A CHANGE FOR EVERYONE NOT JUST THE AFICAN AMERICANS. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY OTHER BRANCHES ARE OPEN AND NOT RECOGNIZING THE BRAVERY AND LEADERSHIP OF DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE A MONUMENT OF HIM IN WASHINGTON, D.C. THANK YOU SPONSORS FOR TAKING TIME TO RECOGNIZE DR. KING!

Helene – Thank you for your comment. We agree the achievements of Dr. King are worthy of respect and recognition. Like many businesses, we must try to balance this time of respect with the need to serve the day-to-day banking needs of our customers. To facilitate customers’ needs, many branches will remain open for normal business hours on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. The decision to be open or closed is made by management in each local community.
